Insulated tabs as a safety feature
Vogt stamped parts are used as safety elements for earthing lamp housings for Ribag lamps.
For a few years now we have been supplying a leading Swiss manufacturer of designer lamps, Ribag Licht from Safenwil, with insulated tabs that have been specially adapted for the restricted installation space. The lights are used around the world in offices and conference rooms and there is virtually no limit to the different possible combinations with accessory parts. The collaboratively developed tabs are used in order to ensure that these lamps and their accessories are earthed.
The restricted installation place in lamp housings was a challenge, as was ensuring the optimal angle of the component for assembling the receptacles, both of which were taken into account through joint CAD development.
